these hands 02:04
these are our dying dreams. this is when we wake up. these same dreams haunt us daily, these same haunts plague us nightly. waiting as patient as i was, why were you found waiting me out? i can't recall what you said, but your voice is still in my head. and i hate it. i fucking hate it. it's always the times that define us, are the times that make us ill. it's always the times that define us, are the times that put us to sleep. it's always the times that define us, are the times you wish you'd forget. you wish you could forget the sunrise, and i was just waiting for you to walk across those plains again. these are our dying dreams, this is when we wake up.

your chapped lips form the saddest smile as you pace down big four; you never learn. you never pictured life this way: faded days and even more faded dreams. you'll start to see it's not who you've been, but who still cares. take all your ambition and smoke it to the filter; your jet black lungs matching their (invisible) exterior. i know you promised to paint my favorite frame in time, but if it's something fragile then you know it's gone. "i should have known you'd leave just as soon as everything stopped going right." when the clock turns back it really brings me down. i guess we'll talk about it later, i guess i'll see you around. and i will keep living this lie without you, never remembering the good or the bad.
